Italian table or table lamp by Toni Zuccheri, 1970s. Body formed by a metal base in gold and silver chrome, where the lamp holder sits, and a spherical upper diffuser made of transparent murano glass combined with navy blue stripes and amber, which provide a luminous flash to nearby surfaces. Rare piece resulting from the great Italian glass tradition. Very much in the style of the Italian glass creations of Aldo Nason, Vistosi, F. Fabbian, De Majo and Mazzega. For an E27 bulb. Original electrical installation reviewed. Perfect state. Minor wear on the inside of the lamp holder bracket (see last photo). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
