A beautiful, atmospheric Italian table lamp, the Opaline Florence. The base is made of opalescent pink, body-tinted glass with a satin finish. The foot is also clear and stainless steel. The lamp was made in Empoli in the 1960s. In very good condition. It is complemented by a contemporary lampshade. Total lamp height: 40 cm. Base height without lampholder: 25 cm. Maximum base diameter: 12 cm. Base diameter: 10 cm. Lower shade diameter: 35 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
