Original and very special pair of table lamps; they are each formed by three lead crystals of lamellar shape cut, ground and polished with absolute perfection; the crystals have then been arranged on each structure in a balanced and dynamic way, so as to filter and diffuse the light of the single bulb, in a wise and rational way; the two bases are made of turned and polished brass; two prestigious and unique objects. They are the work of the famous Italian designer Gaetano Sciolari; designed and manufactured between 1970 and 1975 in one of his workshops in Milan. Our 1970s lamps reflect the style of the era and the Sciolari character, with clean lines, and geometric shapes, they are notable for their modernist aesthetic and their use of fine materials such as crystal and brass. The lamps are in good condition. The electrical system is working but the wiring is European; voltage compatibility in other states should always be checked by an electrician before use. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
