Up for sale is a rare iconic Lithic Table Lamp from J. Robert Scott. J. Robert Scott was founded by Designer Sally Sirkin Lewis in 1972 in Los Angeles and was the destination for high-end home decor until they closed their doors in the early 2000's. Many of the item created for the J. Robert Scott line are highly desirable by design professionals and the iconic Lithic lamps are one of the most desirable items they created. The Lithic model lamp was sold in both a floor as well as a table lamp. Similar designs of this tapered column lamp were available from Karl Springer and called the JMF lamp (since they were designed by Jean Michel Frank) but those were typically covered in leather or other materials and some had slight twists to the body of the lamp.
