Using a special white clay called terraglia dolce ("sweet earthenware") found in the nearby Dolomite mountains, skilled family artisans shape and hand finish each lamp base with lush sage glaze. The matching sage oversized finial is carved in a fluted floral shape for a crowning touch of texture.
