Offering an extra-large vintage seashell table lamp with distressed gold leafed base and seashell finial, circa 1950s. This is an authentic vintage shell lamp from the era and it is very reminiscent of the luxury "specimen" lamps made by Carole Stupell during the Mid 20th Century. A gorgeous coastal lamp that will make an impressive statement in any setting. This lamp has a real presence about it. It is composed of many exotic seashells, all securely attached to a center post and placed upon a two tiered circular gold leafed base. Some of the seashells include a large Nautilus shell, a large Helmet shell, a Melon shell, Spider shells, Moon shells and Murex shells, among others. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. There is some slight chipping on one large shell as shown in the last photo and a mark on the Nautilus shell as seen in the second to last photo.
