Designed in 1968, this is the largest version of the Elpis table lamp manufactured by Guzzini. The construction features a weighted, polished chrome base supporting a wide, mushroom-shaped acrylic diffuser. The translucent white shade distributes light evenly to create a diffuse illumination, while the specular chrome surface reflects the colors and tones of the surrounding environment. The proportions and material composition of this piece make it suitable for placement on sideboards or consoles within mid-century modern and contemporary spaces.
