Large Pipistrello table lamp by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce. Originally designed in 1965, this current production comes with a white opal methacrylate diffuser and a base made of white coated aluminum and satin aluminum trim. Can be used as a table or standing lamp with diffused light, adjustable height. Glazed stainless steel telescope. The shape of conic base grows in the height through the ribs of the diffuser similar to the wings of a bat. The height adjusts from 24.4" to 33.9" tall. Wired for U.S. standards. The manufacturer recommends LED 1X14W, LED 1X9W, LED 4X5.3W E14 bulbs. Bulbs not included. Also available in black, gold, dark brown, red and gold. Other size options are also available.
