Large table lamp, in glass and metal, Italy, 1970s. This is a frivolous grey almost blue mushroom shaped table lamp, consisting of a white coated metal base with an opaline glass shade. Due to the form and color this light creates a beautiful warm and diffuse light partition. The lamp is both functional and sculptural and shares a postmodernist aesthetics as known in Italian postwar art and design.
