During his studies he began to focus on the design of objects and furniture, honing his keen eye for materials, colors, and textures. For a short time, he then worked for Stella McCartney in London. In 2006, Sebastian Herkner founded his own studio. He has since designed furniture, lamps, and smaller items for many manufacturers.
