Flanking her right is a column on which sits a vase of flowers of pastel pink and green. The lamp is signed L&F Moreau, and marked with a seal that reads "Collection Francaise“. There is a matching lamp featuring a boy which is also listed on this site. Brothers Louis and Francois Moreau were sculptors from Dijon, France. Louis worked in bronze and metal sculpture while Francois was a painter and sculptor. The molds from the Moreau Brothers were hidden from the Nazis during WWII. After the war, J. B. Hirsch went to Europe and bought the molds and brought them to America and started a company called Collection Francaise”.
