This late 19th century antique porcelain Chinese lamp showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and vibrant colors of the era. It features handpainted family scenes: on at mealtime and another of celebration of the new baby. The jar has a diameter of approx. 8 inches. Made of porcelain with a multicolor palette and designed in a traditional Oriental style, this lamp a corded electric power source and takes a regular electric bulb. It is mounted on a carved cedar wood base. The jar is 12 inches in height with a additional wood base of 2 inches height. It has a small chip on one leg of the porcelain jar.
