A French porcelain apothecary jar from the late 19th century has been repurposed into a lamp around the mid-century. The jar features a hand-painted black and jade green cartouche design with gilt highlights and is labeled "Pom Salol". This lamp is unique and eye-catching, sitting on a heavily patinaed brass base. It comes with a harp and finial, but no shade. A gold-lined black silk shade (see the 2nd listing photo as a mocked-up suggestion) or a trending pleated block printed shade would be great choices to top off this statement piece. The lamp measures approximately 19" tall from the base to the top of the socket, the porcelain jar is 15" high overall. With the addition of the harp and finial, the total height is 31" and the base is 7" in diameter.
