The entire piece is more of an oblong shape than a round shape due to the oblong shaped shade. Using a round shade, it might change the look. Though a medium size at 21.5" tall, this lamp showcases a classical French style design of rich details and made of high quality materials. It will shine in the right home environment. The pink shade adds a touch of softness and romance to it. The shade fabric feels to be silk to the touch, but we are not 100% sure. As a vintage or even possibly antique item, it is well maintained with only some dings on the marbles and a bit of dirt on the shade. You can of course replace the shade with your own.
