Lorosae Portable Glass Table Lamp

MoMA

$680

Crafted from brightly colored glass, the Lorosae Portable Table Lamp was designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira, a leading figure in Portuguese architecture whose work is represented in MoMA’s collection. The lamp’s design is inspired by a trip Viera took to Timor Loro Sae, in East Timor. “Timor Lorosa’e” translates as “east rising sun,” and the light of this area was the muse for the Lorosae Lamp’s illumination—the entire lamp, shade and base, glows with LED light. The Lorosae is rechargeable and portable, so you can move it around your home when you want to change the mood of a room. Features of the Lorosae Portable Glass Table Lamp include: Rechargeable, portable battery-operated design. Illuminated by an integrated 3.6W LED bulb, 380 lumens. 3-step touch dimming with dimmer integrated into the lamp’s base. Charges via USB-C cable (included). Charges in 4.5 hours for 5 to 15 hours of battery life, depending on light levels. Translucent glass shade and stand that both illuminate. 2700k color temperature. Measures 10h x 7.9"diam.
