Magneto Table Lamp

Magneto does the task-lamp basics but sneaks in a party trick: a hidden magnet that lets the LED head slide, pivot, and lock anywhere along its perforated steel stem. The movement feels purposeful—one smooth push shifts the beam from sketchpad to keyboard—and the 5 W, 2700 K module keeps glare low and color warm. Giulio Iacchetti designed the lamp for Foscarini with two intentions: keep the form pared back (just powder-coated steel and ABS) and make every adjustment satisfying. An inline dimmer on the cord lets you dial brightness without fumbling for switches, and the broad base stays put even when the head is angled forward. Choose black or white; keep it on the desk or opt for the taller floor version when you need reach over a reading chair. Either way, Magneto stays focused, literally and figuratively, on the work in front of you.
