This is an exceptional lamp from Mason's Ironstone, the British manufacturer of fine ceramics. The pattern is known as Blue Mandalay, the design being a transfer on the white ceramic which is then painted by hand. These lamps are normally mounted on a wooden base, but this one has been mounted on a brass base, giving it a refined Asian touch. This lamp is in remarkably good vintage condition. There are no issues to mention other than a small dent in the brass base (refer to picture 10). I currently have a number of other Mason's Ironstone lamps for sale here on Chairish.
