Exceptional late 19th-century table lamp made of mercury-gilt bronze and patinated bronze. The piece features a male mythological figure holding an ornate cornucopia, a symbol of abundance. The pedestal is lavishly decorated with scrolls, acanthus, and garlands, characteristic of the neoclassical style with Rococo influences. The mercury-gilt maintains its original luster and contrasts beautifully with the dark patina of the bronze. The lamp retains its electrical wiring and is in working order. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
