Extraordinary and beautiful, This hand blown Mid-Century Modern Murano art glass large table lamp or floor lamp was made by Mazzega, Italy in the 1970s. It was designed by Carlo Nason and / or Toni Zuccheri. The lamp is suitable as a table lamp or a floor lamp.It features a bulbous glass shade with opaline translucency at the base, fading to clear glass transparency at the top. Additionally, there is a terraced paraboloid wave form pressed into the top of the glass giving a mesmerizing effect. A signature cognac pigment adorns the inflection point of the wave forms, softening the main thrust of the light bulb.The lamp emits a beautiful soft light to the room and is so beautiful, it's hard to stop looking at!This glass shade originated from a larger chandelier that is no more. We have given it new life by adding a minimalist base from stainless steel, completely re-wired and lacquered with a soft eggshell white befitting of the period.
