Offered is a stylish set of 2 tall Fractal Resin table lamps by Frederick Cooper, Chicago produced in the late 1950s-early 1960s. While they are both the same shape and dimensions, their colors are best described as a rutillated quartz and a vibrant light citrine - they really are stunning. Fractal resin is achieved through precise addition of chemicals and heat while the epoxy is in the mold, causing these bright inclusions to form and spread - no 2 pieces will ever be identical. These were purchased at an estate sale and are in good working order. The plug and wire seem relatively new, so it appears they have been rewired. The socket fixture is an "S" shape where lightbulbs face opposite directions horizontally and have separate ball beaded chains to use one or both. There is an extender over the sockets to raise the height of an eventual lampshade, and can easily be removed. The socket fixture has a chalk white coloring over the metal and has original Frederick Cooper stickers attached. They measure 19" tall, 5.75" diameter cylinder base, 27" tall to S fixture socket, 30" tall to extender. Lamp cord measures 99" long
