This matched pair of Wescal Manufacturing Company table lamps was produced in the United States circa 1958–1965. Executed in glazed ceramic with alternating cream glaze and metallic gold horizontal bands, each lamp retains its original brass-tone hardware, elongated tapered centre standard, and original fiberglass parchment drum shade with factory metal edge trim. The design reflects Mid Century Modern, Modern styles. The manufacturer is confirmed by the Wescal stamp on the original harp. Both lamps retain their original fiberglass shades with factory rolled metal edge bands and original attachment tacks, an increasingly uncommon feature among surviving examples. The original wiring has been tested and is functioning, and the matching shades remain original to the lamps.
