Mid-century, vintage, eyeball table lamp with adjustable, “eyeball”-shaped shade, circa 1960’s - 70s. like other classic designs from the same period, this piece features a pole on a circular base, with a multi-directional and adjustable eyeball light, that has a swivel mechanism at the base of the brushed metal shade, enabling one to turn the light into different positions or directions (see photos.) additionally, the light has a horizontal bar, that makes it possible to adjust it to different heights, by sliding up or down (see photos.) the piece has its original cord and on the brushed metal base, its original “on/off” switch (see photos.) the lamp is in good, original vintage condition, with some light signs of age and previous marks of usage commensurate with time, as well as a nice patina of time, on the pole, shade, base and bar (see photos), but nothing that affects its incredibly cool look or functionality. it has only been gently dusted and cleaned, with respect to the original patina. - piece functions with its original european plug up to 250v and, b22 bayonnet lightbulb (not included.) dimensions: base: 14 cm x 14 cm shade: h 14 cm w: 14 cm d: 18 cm european plug (up to 250v).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
