Magnificent and rare pair of large mid-century modern bubble glass table lamps designed by helena tynell for hustadt leuchten (germany, 1960s). Bubble glass globes in light amber/champagne with brass bases. They cast a wonderful light (see pictures). Rare, as most of the lamps designed by helena tynell were much smaller and were produced by limburg. Labelled. rewired and ready to use. Each lamp requires 1x e14 light bulb (e12 in the us), max 60w each. Led compatible. Corded with on/off switch. European wiring - can be rewired or provided with adapters on request. Height: 32 cm/12.6''; diameter: 16 cm/6.3''. Excellent vintage condition. Light wear and patina consistent with age and use.
