This vintage mid-century table lamp was likely American studio-made in the 1950s–60s, when West Coast workshops specialized in hand-carved wood bases paired with artisan-crafted shades. The block-form base is carved from solid wood with a stylized bamboo motif, giving it both sculptural and organic presence. The lamp retains its original rectangular shade, made of coated parchment with a woven cane overlay and whipstitched trim. When lit, the parchment liner produces a soft, ambient glow while the cane overlay adds texture and visual depth. The lamp features its original wiring with a three-way switch for adjustable light levels and a long cord for versatile placement.
