What is particularly striking about this lamp is the contrast between the organic design language of the glass and the technical details of the frame and supply cable. The mouth-blown glass diffuser is made of clear glass in two colors. The ball lies loosely in a ring and can be tilted and rotated to a certain extent. The foot consists of a continuous steel tube, which forms the ring at the top to hold the ball and a ring-shaped foot at the bottom. The supply line is routed inside the foot. A striking detail here is the upper part of the supply line, which is led to the socket in a flexible metal hose. The frame sits on a concave metal shell that fits perfectly to the ball.
