Mid-century table lamp by Kovona based on a design by Josef Hurka from the 1960s. Pure minimalism. The most striking detail of this lamp is the base. This consists of a simple tube that becomes a stable stand through various bends. At the bottom a triangle forms a foot. The slight inclination of the shaft ensures stability and balance of the umbrella and base. The supply line runs inside the pipe. The lamp head consists of an asymmetrical shade that stands out in red from the base. The top forms a pointed dome with a perforation for heat dissipation. The head can be tilted. An aluminum cylinder appears to penetrate the screen. However, this is divided inside and contains a screw to fix the inclination of the screen. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
