Rare Chrome table lamps circa 1970’s in the style of Sonneman Lighting. The chrome body is suggestive of a pencil in form, on round disk form base. Robert Sonneman designed "pencil lamps" characterized by their sleek, minimalist chrome aesthetic for George Kovacs. They are highly reflective and fun. These lamps popular in the mid 20th century exemplify Sonneman’s focus on industrial design and his aim to glorify the industrial aesthetic in lighting. These lamps are heavily weighted on the bottom, and are in excellent condition, they would wonderful in an entryway for some fun sparkle, or on some Mid Century side tables.
