This rare table lamp Quatre Couleur Rosenthal's product line StudioLine is from the 1960s and a design by Bjorn Wiinblad. The cylindrical shape in combination with Rosenthal's fine china and the golden decor by designer Björn Wiinblad makes the luminaire a real eye-catcher. The lamp is signed in a very good condition and on the bottom. The product line StudioLine represents a younger and more modern design of Rosenthal porcelain and was launched 1961st Rosenthal worked long before design vogue Beginning with contemporary artists, designers and architects. This lamp was designed in collaboration with Bjørn Wiinblad. The Danish painter, designer, stage designer and visual artist was 45 years chief designer for Rosenthal AG in Selb. The productive cooperation between the free employees Bjørn Wiinblad and Rosenthal AG in Selb began in 1957 and was, even by the personal friendship between Wiinblad and Philip Rosenthal, continued for nearly fifty years.
