A refined and understated modernist table lamp, model 15566, produced by the renowned Swedish manufacturer Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik during the 1950s. Exemplifying Scandinavian mid-century design at its most elegant, the lamp features a sculptural frame formed from bent brass rod, creating a light and airy silhouette while maintaining excellent structural stability. The brass framework supports a concealed Bakelite lamp holder, discreetly housed behind a conical brass canopy that enhances the lamp’s clean architectural lines. Thanks to its versatile design, the lamp can be used either as a table lamp or mounted on the wall as a wall light. The lamp is fitted with a cream-colored textile shade that provides a warm, diffused light and is equipped with an inline switch on the cord for convenient operation. A fine example of Swedish modernist lighting, combining functional simplicity with sophisticated craftsmanship.
