The opaque white bottom transcending to a crystal clear top is typical for the work of Vistosi to whom this original Murano art glass table lamp was been ascribed. The lamp however does not show marks, brands or other displays of origin. The simplicity of the huge globe combined with the flawless transition in color and transparency was a magical effect; simply stunning. The visible rod for the wiring on the inside as well was been made of clear glass. As this lamp is original I would recommend replacing the wiring. Lamp comes without a shade.
