Pair fine swedish artglass mushroom shaped table lamps by monica backström for kosta boda, 1960´s. rare pair beautiful art glass table lamps designed by glass artist monica backström for kosta boda in 1960´s. The lamps measure 25-26 cm in height and are in very good condition. We have several other glass mushrooms designed by monica backström in our collection, both as table lamps but also as sculptures, please see our collection here. if sold to united states, the lamp is delivered with a us standard electrical plug and the eu lampholder e27 is compatible with us standard e26. monica astrid stensdotter backström (1939-2020) daughter of famous textile artist astrid sampe, was a glass artist that started her career in 1965 at kosta glassfactory as a designer after she had finished her studies at artschool "konstfack" . She was an artist of many skills and she designed clothes and textiles as well as jewellery and painted paintings. Her art has been exhibited all over the world during her career. Her artglass is very sought after and among a lot of objects she designed various different mushrooms in many colours and shapes as you can find in our collection.
