An icon of British design. The Anglepoise Original 1227 Task Lamp is a re-creation of the acclaimed 1930s table lamp design by automotive engineer (and spring inventor) George Carwardine. This lamp, with its signature 3-spring mechanism and weighted 2-tier base, can be smoothly repositioned to focus the light exactly where it's needed...just like the original.
