Ovoide n.° 2 is a table lamp, and the result of the geometric and material exploration found in ACOOCOORO's signature lighting pieces, combining and playing with the voluminous and the soft, the futuristic and thenostalgic.Ovoide transports us to a fanciful underwater hall, illuminated by soft, flaring rays of sunlight. The translucent egg-shaped (ovoide) screens diffuse and soften light, creating an evocative, intriguing atmosphere, while exploring variations on organic and ever-flowing silhouettes and ambiguous textures. As with the rest of ACOOCOORO’s collection, this piece is cast and finished by hand, and assembled using artisanal methods.The signs of time, history, and use are valuable for ACOOCOORO. Most finishes and materials used in this collection are meant to reflect the passage of time, and may change and age in appearance.
