Coming from a New York City estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this Antique 20th Century PAIR of Royal Vienna Porcelain Urns / Vases converted to LAMPS. The vases were originally made early 20th century in Vienna (Austria), then later capped and affixed on raised bronze bases and wired (cord coming out of the back), to serve as lamps. Made of quality porcelain, the center of each side features a phenomenal neoclassical mythological painting transfer, each signed "Kaufmann". On the sides they feature a pair of large gold handles. Each lamp has a single bulb socket, and an arching harp that is topped with a feather plume form finial. Condition is good, showing light use / age wear (please see photos). Size is large and impressive 29" tall overall to the top of the finial, 21.5" tall to the light bulb socket, while the porcelain vase alone is 13.5" high, 5.5" x 5.5" wide, and the bronze base is 6.5" x 6.5" diameter wide. This pair will be a pleasant daily sight, will work with traditional or mid-century setting!
