A pair of bronzed metal candlestick-form table lamps in the antique taste, each with a tall columnar shaft, dished bobeche, cream candle sleeve cover, and stepped circular base with incised ring detail. The dark bronze surface is finished with a green verdigris patina, giving the pair the appearance of aged bronze or weathered metal. Their restrained neoclassical form recalls early candlesticks and pricket-style altar lighting, later adapted as decorative table lamps. The pair offers a strong architectural silhouette, suitable for a console, mantel, or side table setting. While the lamps are unmarked, they are probably made in the United States in the New York area. Very reminiscent of vintage lamps produced for the New York City designers circa 1960-1970. Measurements: 24.75" h x 5.75" w, measured to top of candle sleeve cover.
