Elegant "Pinguino" Murano glass table lamp, made in Italy in the 1980s. This piece stands out for its organic, sculptural form, combining pure lines with extraordinary technical mastery. The main body is expertly hand-blown Murano glass, embellished with delicate, carefully distributed inclusions of silver flakes (silver leaf). The profile is defined and slender by the hot application of a band of dark amber glass, giving the piece an anthropomorphic silhouette reminiscent of a penguin. When the lamp is off, the silver captures the natural light, creating a delicate metallic effect. When turned on, the glass diffuses a warm, welcoming, and soft light, revealing a striking speckled texture that highlights the craftsmanship of Venetian craftsmanship. E14 bulb base; bulb not included. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
