Poul Henningsen spent his career solving the same problem: how to make light livable. His multi-shade system - engineered to eliminate glare and diffuse warmth evenly - was a functional breakthrough that quietly became a global design philosophy. In tribute, Louis Poulsen created the PH 80 in 1974, on what would have been his 80th birthday. The PH 80 Portable Lamp (2025) carries that legacy into a cordless form: opal acrylic shades that cast soft, primarily downward light, and the same considered layering that made Henningsen's work endure. Bulb (not included): LED 2700K, 4W, 174lm, E14. Made in China.
