Starting with a wood disc base with the complex grain on full display, it seats LED lamping beneath inside a rotating glass sphere with an opaque section set inside its upper surface. The construction channels the lamping outward, hiding the construction of the lamping, while the glass diffuser sheds a generous glow wherever it is desired without overpowering its surroundings.
