Designed by Claire Lavabre, Posto Table Lamp reduces design to its essential elements, embodying function, structure, and form in a graphic yet understated expression. Made from just three raw aluminium parts, and assembled with two screws and a bulb fitting, every detail has a clear purpose. The construction is discreet, with no visible screws when placed on a table and a rear groove holding the cable integrated directly into the form. Combining technical precision with visual simplicity, it provides functional, well-balanced light without drawing attention to itself, offering a versatile solution for everyday use in both private and office environments.Claire Lavabre is a French designer and photographer based in Copenhagen. A graduate of ENSCI/Les Ateliers (2012), she now runs her own studio working across object design and photography. Her practice moves between art and design, exploring colour, texture, and form through a balance of aesthetics and functionality. For HAY, Claire Lavabre has designed the Posto Table Lamp.
