Large and exquisite Japanese cloisonné enamel embossed foil (ginbari) Akasuke (Pigeon Blood) lamps. The lamps background is covered with red ginbari featuring a bamboo pattern and decorated with fine details of pink and white roses and green leaves. They date to before 1920 and were made as a pair because there’s a left and a right, which shows quality. They are gorgeous in their color and workmanship and would totally make a room. This kind of Cloissone is much more expensive and sought after. With the harps they measure 16” and 12” without the harps.
