Rituals Table Lamp

$842

Gessato

Lift the shade and you’ll see it isn’t paper at all but blown glass, thin enough to glow like rice paper yet strong enough to shrug off daily knocks. Fine horizontal grooves run around the form—little ridges that catch light and break it into a mellow wash rather than a glare. Each Rituals lamp rests on a skinny, three-point base that only just touches the table, so the oval, column, or disc shape seems to float on its own light. Switch it on and the room settles: edges soften, conversation drops a notch, even a laptop screen feels too bright. Cluster two sizes on a console and the grooves line up like ripples in sand; keep a single piece on the bedside for calm, no-fuss company through late-night reads. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Foscarini, Rituals earns its name—simple object, instant atmosphere, night after night.
