A postmodern icon in excellent vintage condition. Designed by Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs circa 1980, the Saturn table lamp remains one of the most recognizable lighting designs of its era — its brass columnar supports, circular glass disk shade, and domed halogen cap evoking the ringed planet it's named for. This example presents beautifully: polished brass construction throughout, original glass disk fully intact, functioning halogen configuration with original dimmer knob. Light surface oxidation to the base rim consistent with age — nothing that detracts from the overall presentation. A statement piece equally at home in a postmodern, Art Deco, or contemporary interior.
