This collection represents a new aesthetic and process for my work—a move towards greater simplicity and a renewed reverence for natural materials. Sensing a growing divide between how we design architecture and make art, I was compelled to make architecturally significant objects with my hands. My work is an exploration of the symbiosis between art and architecture and the tension between technology and handcraft.
