To visually signify the company’s 10th anniversary, in 2006 e15 exchanged the e15 signal orange with gold.‎ It symbolised the censure after this first decade of e15 and at the same time the transition into the next few years of our work.‎ As a special product for the anniversary e15 presented the light SEAM ONE as a limited edition piece, which in its gold finish bridges the gap to our collection.‎ The object by British designer Mark Holmes has been awarded several times (for example, IF-Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Wallpaper* Editors Award) and has been part of the e15 collection since 2003.‎ The light SEAM ONE is an elegant and contemporary interpretation of the classic table light whose sculptural body is a direct result of its clear lines and accurate folding.‎ At the heart of the design is the aim to keep the number of components to a minimum, the construction as simple as possible, the proportions as balanced as possible and the light as strong as possible – requirements, product specific, which as such are at the heart of all e15 furniture pieces.‎ The golden anniversary edition continues this line of thinking and adds material, as high quality as possible – a 24 karat gold finish on a stainless steel body – to the already mentioned aspects of form and construction.‎
