René prou (1889-1947) antique (art deco) table lamp for the pullman coaches of the orient express (model designed around 1929) in silvered bronze with an 8-sided semi-circular base and tapered shaft. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
