A masterpiece of 1970s Italian space age design, the ‘Sfera Notte’ (Night Sphere) lamp by Gagiplast captivates with its sculptural form and avant-garde appeal. Its futuristic curves evoke the Asteroids by Siberin Caronno, while the flowing silhouette recalls the charm of a Pac-Man arc. Much like the Eclisse lamp, these lamps features a movable lampshade, allowing for adjustable light diffusion to create the perfect ambiance. Made entirely of molded plastic, the lamps reflect the material experimentation typical of the period. The set includes two complementary versions: one in yellow with a white diffuser, the other in red with a smoked shade. The compact proportions and sculptural geometry make these lamps suitable for bedside use or as accent lighting within a modern interior. Both pieces are fully functional and in original condition, with visible signs of use including light surface scratches and slight deformation of the shades caused by heat exposure over time. One switch has been replaced. Both are fully functional. One retains the original label, the other features an embossed manufacturer’s mark.
