Cubist Spanish alabaster table or table lamp, 1950s. Body formed by 3 solid alabaster spheres on a solid circular base of the same material, on which rests another larger sphere that houses the lamp holder inside, attached to the base using a golden brass rod. Cubist and minimalist in style, the design of this lamp is very reminiscent of the artistic creations of the Spanish brand Eclipsi from the 80s. Very rare and unique piece. Alabaster is a warm and cold material at the same time, beautiful like marble but at the same time ductile and malleable like wood, translucent like opaline, which plays with light filtering through its veins, allowing the creation of decorative elements of all kinds characterized by a structural and perceptual lightness. It should be noted that, due to the age of the piece and the fragility of the alabaster, it has some slight signs of use, but this does not dissipate its great beauty. For an E14 bulb. Original electrical installation reviewed. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
