Rooted in one of Spain's oldest living craft traditions, these Fajalauza ceramic amphora bases were hand-thrown and painted near Granada — a city where this distinctive copper-green-and-cream glazed pottery has been made continuously since the Moorish period. Amitābha Studio sourced this vintage pair and converted them into one-of-a-kind table lamps, pairing each base with a bespoke cream linen shade finished with a Houlès passementerie trim. Newly wired for U.S. use. International plug customization available at no charge. Height includes lampshade. The decoration follows the Fajalauza canon: sweeping copper-green foliage and a pomegranate, Granada's enduring civic emblem, rendered on a warm cream ground. No two pieces from this tradition are identical — the hand-painted quality means each lamp carries its own slight variation as well as rustic marks. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
