Pair of Spanish table or table lamps from the early 1960s. Its origin is Catalan, from the renowned Serra family ceramics workshop (see signatures on the base), from which came a multitude of ceramic and glazed stoneware pieces of multiple colors and shapes. The productions of this family of ceramists date back to Catalan modernism in the 19th century. These lamps are a rarity, with the upper output cable, and made entirely by hand (see the small difference in size from one to another). Designed for a nightstand or corner, with geometric and abstract plant motifs. Very much in the style of mid-century German ceramics. For one E27 bulb each. Original electrical installation reviewed.
