Tabla has an extendable adjustable arm, made of lightweight polycarbonate plastic, that pivots on the peak of a conical aluminum base. The transformer of this halogen lamp is housed in the base of the lamp, keeping the sculptural lines unfettered by cords or switches. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
